Section 1 - Eligibility:
No natural person who is not a legal resident of the United States over the age of eighteen (18) years, nor any
business entity which is not a domestic entity having as its principal place of business an office located within the
jurisdiction of any the fifty United States shall be eligible for membership in the Association.
Section 2 - Categories of Membership:
a) Corporate/Independent - Corporate/Independent Membership shall be open to business entities, including, but not
limited to, sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation which derive more than seventy percent (70%) of gross
annual revenue from the business of researching, abstracting, examining, reporting or retrieving land records or to
natural persons (owners, officers, partners or principals of a business entity as set forth above), who engage primarily
in the profession of land title researching, abstracting, examining, reporting or retrieval.
b) Individual Membership - Individual Membership shall be open to natural persons employed in the profession of land
title researching, abstracting, examining, reporting or retrieval.
c) Associate - Associate Membership shall be open to business entities or natural persons not otherwise eligible for
Corporate Membership.
