Submit your interest and feedback on Universal Pre-Kindergarten

What is Universal Pre-Kindergarten?

Universal Pre-Kindergarten will transform our current preschool system by 2030. We want all children in NSW to have access to an affordable and quality play-based learning program, up to 5 days a week, in the year before school.

A key focus of Universal Pre-Kindergarten is ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive for a seamless transition to school and life-changing start to their education journey. We know working together is the best way to ensure Universal Pre-Kindergarten will work for everyone and we are committed to engaging with the ECEC sector, schools and families to make sure we get this right.
