This form is for registered participants of the Finnish American Folk School's Midsummer Jouhikko Gathering 2024. Please use this to request a rental instrument to be used during the event June 20-23. There is a limited supply of instruments. If you already own a jouhikko that can be tuned to E-A-D, please plan to use that rather than renting an instrument to allow as many people as possible to experience jouhikko playing. Questions? Instrument rental (limited supply): $10 for the duration of the Gathering (June 20-23) with a security deposit of $300 that will be refunded upon the safe return of the instrument and bow. Payment and deposit will be collected in person when the instrument is issued to you. Instruments must be reserved in advance and will be allocated in the order requests are received. This form represents your request, not a confirmation that we have an instrument for you. You will receive personal email once an instrument is confirmed for you. In the unlikely event that an instrument is unavailable and you have already registered for a playing workshop, we will issue you a refund.
