LEAD Team Application
The acronym "LEAD" stands for Leadership, Enrichment, And Development. Members of the LEAD Team at Empower CNY facilitate outreach, coordinate events, and foster Empower CNY's existing connections. The LEAD Team is for volunteers who hope to take on a more administrative and prominent role at Empower CNY. All LEAD Team members will be featured on our website alongside a small bio. Admissions to LEAD are rolling, so as soon as you apply your application will be reviewed and you will be sent a decision as soon as possible. Please note, however, that at this time, we are only appointing 10 applicants to the LEAD Team from across CNY.

Responsibilities/Expectations
1. You are able to attend LEAD Team meetings, held bi-weekly, to set goals for the coming days as well as to collaborate on new ideas.
2. You are able to accomplish some in-person tasks apart from tutoring. (i.e. putting up fliers at a location convenient to you, attending special events/meetings)
3. You make contributions during each LEAD Team meeting; you must show initiative.
4. You must be active in the LEAD Team group chat (i.e. communicating updates throughout the week with other members.)

Will you be able to spend enough time each week to accomplish goals set at the bi-weekly meetings? (This amount of time will vary week to week, and will depend on the types of goals.) *
Will you be able to volunteer some of your time outside of tutoring for in-person activities? (i.e. putting up fliers, meetings) *
Will you maintain a steady and high level of communication with other LEAD Team members? (i.e. messaging within groupchats, answering polls) *
