Winter/Spring 2024 ITRC REGISTRATION. How To Promote Phonological and Phonemic Awareness in Elementary Students

Dates: 2/7/24 to 2/21/24   (Asynchronous with synchronous office hours available.)

In this course, teachers will learn about the five (5) levels of phonemic awareness, as well as the eight (8) phonological awareness skills.  Participants will develop an understanding of how to incorporate age-appropriate phonics instruction into existing reading and writing lessons.  By the end of the course, participants will be able to create differentiated phonics instruction to address a variety of student needs.
