Feminist journalism

This survey has been prepared by the "Feminist journalism: the importance of communication with a gender perspective" research group of the University of Malaga (UMA), with the collaboration of the International Network of Journalists with a Gender Vision, MedFemiNiswiyaNosotras Contamos el Mundo Association Reporters Without Borders - Spain (RWB), Association of Feminist Journalists of Castile and Leon and the Andalusian Union of Journalists, taking as reference the studies of the Annual Report of the journalistic profession (APM, 2023) and the Global Media Monitoring Project (GMMP) (WACC, 2022).

Through this tool, we want to understand the main characteristics of feminist journalism and the opinion and experience of professionals who apply this perspective to their work. For this reason, we thank you for answering.

The information collected will serve as the basis for a broader investigation on the subject that  academics and journalists will carry out by during 2023.
