Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Times: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Breakfast served at 8:30, Lunch served at 12:30)

For: Students identified as needing math and/or language arts supports

We are excited to announce Seven Oak Middle School is offering a summer program again this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to skill build in these core academic areas. Students will receive both breakfast and lunch while attending and we are currently working on a transportation plan.

Students will benefit from a slightly modified approach to instruction during Summer school, using an online skill building format. Students will take an assessment and the program will build a course offering based upon that individual students skill level in both math and language arts. Students will have the opportunity to work at their pace.

Administration and staff have developed a list of summer school students based upon specific data points that indicate the need for additional supports. Data points used to determine eligibility include: test scores, behavior records, attendance, and mobility data. We are fortunate to be partnering with the Boys & Girl Club to expand the opportunities for students and parents through the 21st Century Grant. Students will also be registered grant participants with their summer school registration.

We’ve identified your student as a student who would benefit tremendously from this opportunity and would like to extend an invitation to attend.

We are hosting two parent meetings in the coming weeks to share details and answer questions about the program:
