White Ribbon is offering a free workshop on male-allyship and sexual violence prevention. We want to work together to equip male-identified students, staff, faculty, and community members at Ontario Tech University with the leadership skills that will support them in creating violence and harassment-free spaces within their fields of expertise.

The free workshop will be offered remotely on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 11:30am-1:00pm in an interactive session. We will cover definitions of sexual violence, unpack its root cause as it relates to gender expectations, and offer the audience tools to become role models and advocates in the prevention of this issue. For the last three years, faculties, and instructors have supported us by making our DTL events part of their curriculum, professional development sessions, or as extracurricular activities for which students could gain extra marks.
