The Institute for the Development of the Local
Government of the Lublin Province (IRST) is performing tasks related to
local-government cooperation opportunities in theThree Seas Initiative area. It is part of a research project
implemented by the Lubelskie Province financed from the funds of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, entitled The Economic Network
of the Three Seas Regions – a tool for
cooperation between local governments in Central Europe. The objective of
the research conducted by the Institute is to get insight into the needs and
common challenges which local governments in Three Seas Initiative countries
face, allowing such needs to be catered for through the implementation of
specific projects. As a result of the studies, a report will be prepared
including the analysis of conditions, needs and perspectives of joint
activities pursued by local governments from Three Seas Initiative countries,
with particular emphasis to be placed on the prospects of regions forming part
of the Economic Network of the Three Seas Regions. Data acquired from local
government entities, non-governmental organisations and community entities will
be a support in this respect. Please answer the questions below. The
questionnaire should be competed by a representative of a region* responsible
for international cooperation, regional development or other similar tasks. The
collected data is anonymous. It will be used solely for the purpose of the task
referred to above.
*For the purpose of this survey, the term “region” means local and
regional governments present in various states of the Three Seas Initiative
(district, county, municipality, županija (Croatian county), state and other
units at NUTS2 and NUTS3 levels).
Thank you for your cooperation and engagement.
