Inclusive Professional Framework (IPF) Workshop - April 9, 2024
The SEER Institute, in partnership with the NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES Aspire Alliance (Aspire) is hosting a 3-hour online workshop on April 9, 2024 centered on learning to promote equity and inclusion in your role through the Inclusive Professional Framework for Faculty (IPF: Faculty).

A Closer Look at Intercultural Dynamics and Relationship Building within the IPF
Are you already familiar with the Inclusive Professional Framework for Faculty (IPF: Faculty), or have you engaged in other identity-related professional development work in the past? Join this session to explore more deeply the intercultural awareness and relational and communication domains of the IPF: Faculty. An identity activity will be required as pre-work and the result will be part of the introduction activity to ensure that everyone is entering this workshop with a basic understanding of how their identity and other's identities impact their role and work. This workshop will go deeper into the cultural wealth model, multicontextuality, and how those impact communication while fleshing out the IPF: Faculty more so that application of the IPF is clearer.

Date & Time: Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 2-5 ET / 1-4 CT / 12-3 MT / 11-2 PT
Location: Online in Zoom (Facilitators will follow up with confirmation)
Target Audience: current STEM faculty, graduate students or postdocs considering an academic career

Let us know below if you're interested in additional sessions of this workshop.
