Vendors Registration Houby Days 2024

The Houby Day Festival is a weekend festival the weekend after Mother’s Day 2024 it will be held May 17-19th, 2024. There are many opportunities for vendors at our various events. If you are interested in being a vendor, please fill out the form below. By submitting the form, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the festival and the individual events. I will be open during the opening hours of the festival: Friday 5:00 pm to 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am- 10:00pm, Sun. 9:00 am-4:00 pm

I understand that the Czech Village Association and the City of Cedar Rapids will not be in any way liable for damages, injury, or loss to persons or property sustained by me (the exhibitor) and/or my employee or representatives.

I further agree to assume all risks associated with negligent acts committed by me or anyone associated with or employed by me and/or arising out of this contract. I will indemnify and hold harmless the City of Cedar Rapids and the Czech Village Association should there be any legal action.

I agree to keep my area maintained and kept clean throughout the entire 3-day festival, and clean upon leaving.

I agree to abide by the guidelines set forth and any attempt to mislead may result in a loss of fees paid and/or the loss of vending space at the sole discretion of the vendor committee.  In our attempts to create a quality vending community this year, all sales items are subject to the discretion of the festival committee. The following are examples of what we are NOT looking for: Weapons of any kind – real or copy of merchandise which promotes and/or uses profanity, drugs, racist or sexual innuendo as a message. Other merchandise that the festival committee deems inappropriate.

Vendor Fees (Non-Food) for a 10 X 10 space: 
March 18, 2024 $200 for a 3-day rate for each vendor
After April 22, 2024 $250 - 3-day rate for each vendor
Payment in full is needed by 11:59PM on April 28, 2024.
Set up time is Friday evening from 1pm to 4pm. All vendors must be set up by 5 PM on Friday.

Food Vendor Fees for a 10 X 20: All Food Vendors 3 day vendor space.
March 18 - April 21, 2024 Applications are being accepted.  We will contact you with approval and $500 will need to be paid in full by 11:59PM on April 28, 2024. Electricity is not available. Setup: Friday evening from 12-4 PM.
We will 1-2 vendors of any one specific cuisine to maintain variety.

You MUST be finished with set up by 5pm Friday and all vehicles off the street at the start of the festival. You MUST be set up for all 3
days. Tear down is from 4pm - 6pm Sunday afternoon. 

Insurance: Certificate naming the Czech Village Association as primary additional insured. (Questions about insurance should be referred to your insurance agent) The insurance documents and payment needs to be sent to Czech Village Association- Houby Days 83 16th Ave. SW Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.  Checks payable to: Czech Village Association


The Czech Village Association will contact all vendors by April 21st or sooner with approval so money can be collected by April 28 to reserve your spot.
