Our April hike will be a nature walk at Mt. Fir Park & Inspiration Garden in Independence, followed by an optional walk at Independence's Riverview City Park Trail

We will be meeting on Sunday, April 21st at 10:00am at the Inspiration Garden Parking Lot.

We will be exploring the 7 acre Mt. Fir park which is a project maintained by the Polk County chapter of Oregon State University's Master Gardener program.

Afterwards, for those that would like to join for an additional walking portion of the day, we will be walking a 3 mile out-and-back along the paved trail at Riverview City Park in Independence.

Please keep an eye on the weather and come prepared. We will send weather and trail information out to people who sign up as we get closer to the event.

Dogs are welcome on both portions of this nature walk, but must be on leash.

As always we will have some water bottles, backpacks, and trekking poles available for those who want them.
