The Matching Process
The information you provide in this application will be used to find a mentee who shares similar professional, educational, and/or life experience background. Mentors will be notified of their acceptance into the program and match in summer 2024 and provided with their mentee's contact information, bio, and resume. Mentees will be provided with their mentor's contact information and bio and will be responsible for contacting their mentor within two weeks of receiving this information to establish the mentoring relationship.

Mentors and mentees are expected to attend the program opening event in September 2024. The details and date are to be determined. Mentoring pairs who are unable to attend the opening reception are asked to establish a first-time connection in September as well. This year's program will take place from September 2024 to May 2025.

Over the course of the nine-month program, pairs are required to meet for at least three one-on-one mentoring sessions. However, it is encouraged that pairs connect as often as possible. To ensure progress is being made, we suggest the first mentoring session be completed by the end of November, the second by the end of February, and the third by the end of April.

Thank you for your interest in the Alison R. Bernstein Media Mentoring Program! We look forward to reviewing your application.
