Next Chapter Book Club --- Member application
The Next Chapter Book Club is a community-based book club that welcomes adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental differences to read and learn, make friends and have fun!  We select a new book to read together each 12-15 week session.  Anyone age 16 and over can participate, no matter their reading level.  Even non-readers can participate.

Please read or listen carefully to the following statements: •I understand that more than 4 absences within a 3-month period may result in my dismissal from the club in order to allow someone else to attend in my place.•I understand that NCBC cannot provide transportation to or from the book club meeting when meeting in-person. I will make arrangements to arrive at book club meeting on time and I will be picked up on time. I understand that when meeting in person NCBC volunteers cannot provide one-to-one behavior support and I will bring someone to help me if I have behavioral support needs. I understand that NCBC can ask me to leave the club if my behavior is disruptive, aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate.   *
