Criteria for receiving the Exemplary Private String Teacher Award are:

Students involved in Youth Symphony organizations – numbers submitted with application

Evidence of Professional Development – documentation from workshops attended.

Private Teacher assists in picking appropriate literature for the students playing ability.

Participation in CCAP

Evidence of students' transition to college as a continuing player, if not music major or minor.

Students involved in their public school music program.
