These are the different teams/roles in the organization and some of the responsibilities that each roles may potentially have:
Advocacy: campaigns, how to get involved in political campaigns, lobbying, updates on what’s happening policy wise in the city/state/nation, opportunities that you become aware of
Communications: write press releases and advisories, communicate with press, communicate with speakers/musicians for events, press conference
Internal Communications: internal conflict resolution, workshops, webinars, toolkits, skill building, calls with representatives, a weekly opportunities to voice opinions, email lists
Logistics: operations, organizing the needs for each campaign, keep track of money, strike logistics (transportation, barriers, food & water, etc), fundraising money, grants
Outreach: recruit representatives, develop toolkits for school clubs, onboard new organizers, create resources that we give to representatives, contact school principles, communicate with representatives for actions
Partnerships: build connections with adult allies and other organizations, build relationships, coordinate with other organizations for actions
Social Media/Creative: creating designs for social media, posting engaging content, merchandise, outreach through social media, manage social platforms, web design
