I understand that there is a $10.00 cleaning fee for the school-issued uniform parts. The uniform parts will not be issued unless the cleaning fee has been paid. The cleaning fee is non-refundable. (check payable to Scranton Middle School)

I understand that if my student is assigned a school instrument, there is a school rental fee of $50.00 per school instrument. This rental fee is good for the 2023-2024 school year and covers general maintenance and any repairs that are not the fault of the student. The rental fee is non-refundable. For percussion only: I understand that my student is allowed to use all of the school-provided percussion equipment. Due to the high cost of replacing percussion equipment because of multiple student use, there is a percussion maintenance fee of $50.00. This maintenance fee is good for the 2023-2024 school year and covers general maintenance and any replacement of equipment that is not the fault of the student. The usage fee is non-refundable. In lieu of fundraising, I am offering families the opportunity to donate to the Scranton Band Program. Donations will be used towards (but not limited to): the purchase of new music, new band instruments, theory materials, replacement of worn-out uniform parts, and other items such as pizza parties, rewards for activities, etc. Any donation is greatly appreciated. ALL STUDENTS: Uniform cleaning fee (dry cleaning for the school-issued bowtie and vest (7th grade) or cummerbund and bowtie (8th grade). Cleaning fee is $10.00. (non-refundable)

7th GRADE STUDENTS and possibly 8th GRADE STUDENTS: $20.00 tuxedo shirt purchase for uniform requirement. (non-refundable)
