“May You Stay Forever Young” is set in the chaotic summer of 2019 in Hong Kong, when a series of mass protests against the Hong Kong government’s attempt to pass the Extradition Law Amendment led to a chain of suicides by young protesters to make their voices heard. After a young protester announces she will commit suicide on social media, a group of fellow protesters must race against time to find and rescue her.

“Watching this movie was both incredibly heart-wrenching and infinitely touching. It was heart-wrenching because Hong Kong’s youths had to suffer in ways that no youths should ever deserve to suffer. But it was touching because these youths were willing to give everything for someone who they’ve never even met — simply because we are all Hongkongers. We are 手足(arms and legs) — parts of the same body.” — Kinen Kao, founder of Penn State Students For Hong Kong
