Terms and Conditions

You may borrow any parts from the resource centre if you are a current student at Simon Fraser University. Priority will be given to students enrolled in Engineering Science.

You may rent at most 2 parts from the resource centre each term. All parts must be returned at the end of each semester. There will be a refundable deposit that must be in the monetary form of Canadian cash. The deposit amount is shown in the spreadsheet.

If you lose and/or break any parts that are borrowed from the resource centre, you will pay for the lost part. The cost of the lost part is listed in the spreadsheet. If you fail to pay for the lost part, we may contact and provide your information to the school of Engineering Science, Faculty of Applied Science and any other suitable person.

Personal Information

Your Personal Information may be shared between ESSS executives and/or directors and/or department and/or SFU for resource centre duties. Personal information will not be shared for any other purposes besides resource centre purposes. If you have any questions about the use of this information, please email the director of the resource centre.

Consent and Agreement

Effective as of the date set out below, I:

I agree that if I type my full name indicating my consent through this form, this is the legal equivalent of my handwritten signature. Typing my name indicating my consent has the same validity and meaning as my handwritten signature. I will not, at any time in the future, repudiate the meaning of my electronic signature or claim that my electronic signature is not legally binding.
