You need to register your details when you start to work towards any of the Going Away With scheme.

You need to allow at least 6 months to complete any of the modules (longer for some of the more specialist ones).

The Going Away With scheme is open to members who have completed the leadership qualification and currently hold an active role as a leader, commissioner or adviser.

To be assessed for any module of the Going Away With scheme, for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides you'll need to take away a minimum of eight girls and a maximum of 24 girls. For Rangers, the minimum will be 4, and maximum will be 24.

To be assessed for modules 5-9 of the Going Away With scheme,, the assessment event needs to last two nights or more.

You MUST have discussed your intention with your District/Division Commissioner before registering.

Once registered you will be paired with a residential mentor who will arrange to meet with you, they will support you along the way and assess you before, during and after the event.

You will be expected to submit all your evidence and Going Away With book within 3 months of your event for verification.
