Tauranga Netball Centre are offering Ōtūmoetai College students a Learn to Umpire (LTU) course at the Mount centre - date to be confirmed. This is a one day course from 8.30am - 3.30pm. The workshop includes an introduction to rule knowledge and practical on court skills, T-shirt, whistle, rule book and ongoing coaching throughout the season to help umpires progress to a practical qualification.
New and experienced netball players welcome but you don't need to play netball to be involved!
The Sports Office has a high regard for this LTU course and recommends all students who have an interest in umpiring take advantage by attending this workshop.
To encourage all students to be involved in sport, the Sports Office is offering this course for FREE.
There is a short timeframe and limited spaces available so get your expression of interest filled in as soon as possible to reserve a space. Transport to and from the venue will be parent responsibility.
