We are so fortunate to have community members that possess a wide variety of skills and expertise and are willing to pass this along to students. We are looking for community partners willing to support BVCSD in this endeavor. Our framework is built on three foundational aspects to career readiness: Explore. Engage. Empower. If you and/or your business would consider working with BVCSD students, we would greatly appreciate exploring a partnership with you.

By indicating your interest in BVCSD's Experienceship Program, you agree to be contacted with further information. At all levels of participation, further information and guidance will be provided. Classroom Visits -- visit Bay schools to speak to students about your company or job

Virtual Mentoring -- meet via Zoom with a student for a predetermined amount of time to provide knowledge and advice about a career field

Lunch and Learn Visits -- visit Bay schools to have conversations with a small group of students about career industry, company, or job

Mock Interviewer -- meet with student in person or via Zoom to conduct a mock interview

Job Site/Company Tour -- give students a real-world look at your industry

Job Fairs -- community or school events where business representatives and employees from a number of local companies share information about job opportunities and required skills

Job Shadowing -- one-day opportunities for students to enhance career exploration and awareness of the nature of the business and job

Apprenticeships -- paid or unpaid apprenticeships where students work alongside more experienced employees to gain valuable skills and knowledge through hands-on learning

Internship -- student spends a predetermined amount of time at an unpaid employment setting, engaging in duties or projects that are beneficial to the organization and engage the intern
