Emergency Assistance Grant Request
The Council Bluffs Schools Foundation is proud to support the children, families, and staff of the Council Bluffs Community School District.
We know that teachers, counselors, and principals are first to see some of our most vulnerable children arrive at school hungry, cold, or sick, and they respond by finding solutions, such as winter coats, gloves, shoes, eye glasses, and other items that ensure our students are at school and ready to learn.
Thanks to our generous donors, a portion of the Student Enrichment Fund is dedicated to help these children and their families.
How it Works
Teachers, Counselors or principals identify a student in need, find a solution, and ask us for help by submitting this request form. The form should be submitted for approval prior to purchasing the supplies. Once the request has been approved, follow the instructions for purchasing the approved supplies on the following page.
Funds are limited to $300 per request, and may not be used for purposes already funded by the school district, field trips, or student fees. Allowable expenses include, but are not limited to, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, lice treatment kits, medications or other medical needs.
