Fostering is a rewarding process, but it is not without its hardships. It is truly ALOT of hard work. Fostering requires you to have a drive to learn new things, be a problem solver and a team player. You must be open to potential loss. Young puppies and kittens sometimes pass away. Excellent communication, asking questions and posting weekly pictures are highly important for success. Fosters may scratch or bite you, they may soil in inappropriate places, steal your food, or become sick and require you to give them medication. You need to be prepared for anything, happy or sad. This will be work, but for the greatest good and best rewards in the end. Saving a life is priceless. *
