We are continuing our work to improve outcomes for our students and want to know if you will help partner with us.  We have a very small group and would love to hear from more of our families about their experiences, suggestions and thoughts.
 
We are asking you to fill out this interest survey if you are interested in helping us at MTHS to improve for our students who identify as Black/African American.

This team will not only continue our work but keep us accountable to what we have set out to do creating change and continuous improvement.  We value you and know this can make a difference.

Why?
In order to keep improving and meet our mission of helping ALL students realize their greatest potential, we need to address systemic inequities for students.  We know there is no quick fix and we are not perfect but we learn so much when we hear from our students and families.  Thus, we are creating a Black/African American Family Leadership Team to engage in critical discussions to improve our practices and improve student outcomes for our Black and African American students.

We plan to meet at least quarterly, if not more.  Dates and times are coming soon and our goal is to meet in person to form better connections but will also explore what might work in a hybrid situation as we go.  We know it may be hard for all to be involved on the same day and time of course.  However, even if you are unable to meet sometimes, we will do our best to involve you and communicate with you if you are interested.
