Sacred Organizing House:                                    2023-24 Cohort Application & Registration 
The Sacred Organizing House brings together, under one roof, teams of people of faith & courageous love committed to building a multifaith, multiracial, multigenerational movement for justice in Oregon. United by the shared practices of Sacred Organizing, we believe that by working together, we can move toward a horizon of liberation, including racial equity, housing justice, climate resilience, and youth leadership.

Each Room of the house (e.g. Reckoning with Racism, Youth, etc.) has a unique focus and base of leaders, and is led by its own staff and strategy team. The Commons brings together staff and leaders from multiple Rooms for shared learning, discerning, and planning. And sometimes, our whole House may decide to engage in a shared campaign or action – that’s our superpower!

Most Rooms host their own Cohorts, where teams of leaders from multiple faith-based and community groups commit to learning and organizing together for a 9-month season. Teams are matched with Companions who provide support and guidance. 

For the 2023-2024 Season, the following Cohorts will meet from October through June:

Reckoning with Racism - third Tuesdays 

Climate Resilience - third Tuesdays

Land & Housing Coalition - first Thursdays

The Sacred Organizing House reúne, bajo un mismo techo, equipos de personas de fe y amor valiente comprometidas con la construcción de un movimiento multirreligioso, multirracial y multigeneracional por la justicia en Oregón. Unidos por las prácticas compartidas de la Organización Sagrada, creemos que al trabajar juntos, podemos avanzar hacia un horizonte de liberación, que incluye la equidad racial, la justicia en la vivienda, la resiliencia climática y el liderazgo juvenil.
Cada sala de la casa (por ejemplo, Reckoning with Racism, Youth, etc.) tiene un enfoque único y una base de líderes, y está dirigida por su propio personal y equipo de estrategia. The Commons reúne al personal y a los líderes de varias salas para compartir el aprendizaje, el discernimiento y la planificación. Cohort Contribution
We invite participants to make a meaningful financial contribution towards covering the costs of the Cohort. Suggested contribution is $100 per individual participant, with a sliding scale. We know that these are uncertain times and many of us are facing financial hardship, so please only contribute what you can. We don't want the financial contribution to be a barrier to anyone's participation // Invitamos a los participantes a hacer una contribución financiera significativa para cubrir los costos de la cohorte.
