With the lifting of the ACT lockdown, Basketball ACT has provided guidance for the completion of the 2021 Winter season.

BACT has proposed that the U10 and U12 - U19 competitions could be completed in the following format, under similar Covid-19 Protocols that were in place in 2020.

 U10s will recommence on 31 October (2 weeks prior to the rest of the age groups) and will play one game a weekend over four weeks.

 U12s, 14s, 16 and 19s - will recommence on the weekend of 12 November for the three remaining rounds and finals.

We understand the U10 and U12 age groups may not be vaccinated against Covid-19 at the recommencement of the U10 and U12 Winter season, or some players may be immunocompromised. As such, some families may choose not to complete the 2021 season.

Should you make this choice, we completely understand and look forward to seeing your child return to play in 2022 when we hope our community will have achieved some sense of normality to our competitions.

Our survey will be open until 5pm on the 19th of October. Please complete the questions below to indicate the availability of your child to complete the 2021 Winter season before this date – this will enable us to ensure we fill teams where needed. Apologies for the short notice, we are working with the information as it comes to hand.

Further advice on the recommencement of all age groups will be emailed to our Dodgers families once things become clearer.
