Women of colour is a term of solidarity for women, and those that identify as women, from marginalised backgrounds and diverse ethnicities (who are not part of the majority group). We want the Book Club groups to be a safe space to discuss ideas openly with likeminded people, we may consider separate allies groups if there is enough interest.

The WOC Book Club is a virtual club, however, we want to get a sense of whether there is enough momentum to create some in person meet ups in various locations

This allows us to ensure you are with likeminded people while in discussion groups
Ethnicity
This allows us to understand the diversity of the groups we are reaching and whether we need to do further outreach to certain communities
