Media Literacy through American Culture Application form
The American Embassy Budapest is offering a Media Literacy through American Culture Summer Course on July 10-13, 2023 at Hotel Bonvino in Badacsony. (https://hotelbonvino.hu/). Participants should arrive at the hotel on Sunday, July 9 and depart on Thursday, July 13. The camp is organized by U.S. Embassy Budapest and administered by IATEFL-Hungary.

 Ideal applicants work as English language teachers in the Hungarian public education system and have a maximum of 5 years’ teaching experience. They are open and ready to work in collaboration with peers to devise a project and present their ideas on the last day of the course. Participants will be selected based on the merit of their applications.

The course is FREE, U.S. Embassy Budapest will cover accommodation, meals, and training for the participants. Participants will be reimbursed up to HUF 6,000 for travel costs and will need to present proof of transportation (train/bus tickets, fuel slips) at the training site. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and a five-credit certificate.

Please, submit your application by 23 June, 2023.

Successful applicants will be informed via email by 25 June, 2023.
