This two-year opportunity is compensated with a 10 month (September - June) stipend of $22,000 each year.  The successful development and implementation of this innovative teacher preparation pathway is dependent on the commitment of the residency candidate to fully participate in the classroom, the professional learning community, the school community, and their coursework.  It will require a commitment to their school community beyond the traditional teacher preparation program.   Current district partners include Cambridge, Hoosick Falls, Lansingburgh, Stillwater, Schenectady, South Glens Falls, Warrensburg, and the WSWHE BOCES in the Queensbury and Capital District region.  

Interviews will be held end of May or early June for September 2023 placements.  Applications received before the first Monday of April will be given priority consideration.  Please know:  completing the application as soon as you are accepted, if interested, allows us to better recruit for your placement.
