Resident Survey on Community Rejuvenation and Enhancement
We want your feedback on potential community rejuvenation options!  The following survey contains many options our community can pursue for safety, parks, and recreation purposes that were presented in the Town Hall Community Landscape Master Plan presentation.  The presentation and cost information can be viewed online at https://lossh.org.  Please take a few minutes to let us know what you think!

NOTE: Erosion remediation related to Kroger Lake are not included in this survey as they are the responsibility of our Municipal Utility District (MUD).  The Lakes of South Shore Harbour Community Association will keep the residents informed of progress on this issue via Spectrum official communications.

Section 3 - Potential Funding Strategies
This section relates to how the community association could fund supported projects.

Note: A Park Bond through the MUD must be elected by the residents in an official city election, and projects implemented under this plan would be sales tax exempt.  Projects funded through HOA annual assessments are not eligible for sales tax exemption unless reimbursed with Park Bond funds.

Please rate your agreement with each of the following statements:

27. I support applying for a full MUD Park Bond valued up to $4.1M, and implementing as many supported projects as possible over one (1) to three (3) years if the Park Bond is approved by voters.  To calculate your approximate annual tax amount increase, you may use this formula: (Approximate Home Value x 0.00077 = Approximate Tax Increase).  NOTE: Tax increase amount ends with the MUD in 2033, and homeowners are only taxed on Bond amount used (e.g. If the community-supported projects only use $2.5M, the unused amount lowers the tax). *
28. I support using a Line of Credit to get started on community-supported projects now and accept reimbursement from a MUD Park Bond if approved by voters. *
29. I support increasing HOA annual assessments periodically (10%-20%) or special assessments as needed over a period of five (5) to eight (8) years to implement supported projects. *
30. I only support funding these projects through savings. *
