The purpose of our program is to explore
the changes occurring in our workforce and discuss how to move our workforce into the mid – 21st century.
Join our panel of speakers for an
interactive discussion of what’s happening to our workforce and how to meet the
challenges and opportunities facing the future of agriculture.
The Jefferson County Agricultural Development
Conference is planned for Friday March 31, 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn in
Watertown NY. The doors will open at 10am with the presentations starting at
10:30. Each panelist will provide up to a 20-minute presentation on topics
relating to our theme of building and sustaining our agricultural workforce. After the three presentations are completed,
we will have a facilitated discussion with the panelists, host and audience
focusing on the key points made during the presentations and touching upon
solutions and opportunities for the ag industry.
After the program, a free lunch of soup, sandwiches and baked ziti will be available to all who register to attend. A vegetarian option will be available and gluten free options may be requested at time of service.
