Dear NUU Parents,

As we prepare for another soccer year, we are finding a large number of players wanting to participate. We want to provide services to all of our players and their families, but in order to give these kids a chance, we rely on volunteers. 

"When my oldest son first started playing soccer, he had very impactful coaches who helped him develop into a wonderful young man. As my younger sons started to play, I volunteered to help coach their teams. By the end of a few years, I had coached 6 different teams, and was able to have an impact on over 75 youth. I still see them today, playing high school soccer for schools across the valley, and run into them at the grocery store, or in the community. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am so proud of these young men, and who they have become. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to coach." - Wade Olsen

Don't worry! We'll help you learn the ropes and mentor you as you grow into the role of coach or team manager or any other position you feel comfortable volunteering for!

We have increased and improved our staff and have some incredible volunteer Age Group Leaders who are standing by to help our newer coaches. 

Coaching usually consists of 4 - 8 practices per month when it's warm outside and once per week during the winter.  Plus (obviously), coaching actual games themselves. If you have any questions, please contact Chris Guymon at presnuu@gmail.com

Simply put, we hope we get enough people to coach that we can have two coaches on each team to reduce the demands. So, please let us know if you can help us keep kids playing!
