General Question

Language Placement Exam: Emmersion online placement test, which is designed to help you determine the best course for you based on your background (only language tests currently available are Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish). Students with no vision will need to schedule an in-person exam with the faculty.

Language Proficiency Exam: An assessment that may consist of oral and/or written evaluation to determine language proficiency (test to determine proficiency level to fulfill a major requirement. Currently available in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish and Tagalog [speaking assessment only]). Students with no vision will need to schedule an in-person exam with the faculty.
