The Monkey King TYA
FEB 2023 EPA

This Google form is set up to collect audition videos for THE MONKEY KING for a TYA production at Queens Theatre in the Claire Shulman Theater, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Feb 9-12. Rehearsals begin approximately on Jan 23, 2023.

Please prepare one of the provided songs and one side. Sheet music, sides, accompaniment MP3s, character descriptions and synopsis are available at the following link:

You may also choose to prepare short cut of a musical theatre/pop/rock song that shows your style and vocal range. If you do not have access to accompaniment, you may sing your song of choice a cappella. If you do not have a reader available for the sides, you may submit a monologue in the style of the show.
Submissions are due by Dec 20, 2022
Call backs will take place around December 27-30, 2022

Videos will be viewed by Steven Eng (Director), Jonathan Fadner (Writer/Music Director), and Kimbirdlee Fadner (Co-writer)
