Basis Risk Session
One of the main three pillars for the Disaster Risk Financing system is the risk analytics. Risk models always need to be reviewed, verified and calibrated (if needed) to minimise the false triggering of the model.
As it is known this false triggering is called basis risk and Start Ready provide some funds for members to implement activities in case the hazard was materialised while the model failed to alarm.
