Virtual Book Club - Hosted by the Village of Ardsley Multicultural, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and the Ardsley Public Library - Sunday 17 Jan & 7 Feb at 4:00 PM.
The Ardsley Multicultural, Diversity and Inclusion Committee & the Ardsley Public Library are continuing our virtual book club. We have selected stories designed to spark discussion and reflection about race, identity, orientation, equity, community, and understanding.

The text for January is Between the World and My by Ta-Nehesi Coates. This text is recommended for readers ages 13 and up. The library has three versions of the book available: text as published, large-print text, and electronic audiobook. The book has also been set as a movie available on HBO MAX.

Lastly, you are welcome to join in the conversation without reading the book.

We will discuss the text in small groups.

If you would like to reserve a copy, please call (914) 693-6636 or email APL@wlsmail.org the Ardsley Public Library.

Our discussion of this text will be a virtual event and registration is required. The discussion will occur on Sunday January 17 AND Sunday February 7, at 7:00 PM over Zoom. A link to the event will be sent out 24 hours prior to the events.

For January 17, we will read and discuss pages 1-39.
For Feb 7, we will read and discuss pages 39-152.
