Mandoleers Summer Workshop
We invite you to sign-up for the 2024 Mandoleers Summer Workshop! Join us for rehearsals, social activities, camaraderie, and a culminating performance. All mandolin/guitar ensemble folk are welcome! We look forward to collaborating together in Arlington, Virginia this July.

Workshop Information & Schedule:
All activities will take place at Clarendon United Methodist Church (606 N Irving St, Arlington, VA 22201).
  • Friday, July 19:  Rehearsal (7:30pm-10:00pm)
  • Saturday, July 20:  Rehearsal (10:00am-12:00pm), Lunch & Social Break, Rehearsal (1:00pm-5:00pm, with breaks)
  • Sunday, July 21:  Rehearsal (1:00pm-3:15pm), Snack & Social Break, Concert (4pm), Group Dinner after
The registration fee is $35 (without Saturday lunch) or $50 (with Saturday lunch). Participants may pay by check in advance or by cash at the door. If paying by check, payment is due by July 15th. A mailing address will be provided in a welcome email to participants.

Repertoire will be sent to participants later this spring. If you have any music-related questions, please fill out our contact form here and your questions will be forwarded to our guest conductor.

The Takoma Mandoleers are a mandolin-guitar orchestra that rehearses weekly in Arlington, Virginia. Committed to performing diverse repertoire, the orchestra has performed at many venues across the Greater Washington, D.C. area and maintains a presence in the local community through their engagement with retirement homes and public schools. For those selecting the Saturday lunch, details about the meal options will be forthcoming closer to the workshop date.
The Mandoleers will provide snacks and water throughout the weekend. Please list any allergies/dietary restrictions.
