Learn Te Reo Maori with Kristy Term 1, 2021 - Thursdays at the HASCA HUB on the Shore!

What: Discover te reo Māori through stories! Each week we will learn how to say words,  sentences and phrases in te reo Māori through pakiwaitara (stories) and waiata (songs).  

Who: This class is aimed at primary age children but is open to all beginners, adults included!

When: Thursdays 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, 8 weeks from 13 May - 01 July
Where: HASCA Hub, YMCA North Shore, 5 Akoranga Drive, Northcote (squash court 3)

Term Fees:
$64  HASCA members
$69  non members

*Prices subject to minimum numbers being reached

About the Tutor: Kristy Jefferson is a trained secondary school teacher with over 10 years of experience. She has taught in mainstream NZ, international and Steiner schools. Her main teaching subjects are te reo Māori and Social Studies, but also has taught English and in many cross-curricula project based learning classes.
