Thank you for your interest in the NEMC Jazz Intensive. THE JAZZ INTENSIVE at NEMC is the quintessential program for the high school student seeking serious study of Jazz. The program is a two-week intensive that dives into the traditional Big Band era, Contemporary Jazz, small ensembles and theory. Led by some of the top jazz educators and performers in the Jazz scene, the daily schedule for the 30 chosen students will involve private lessons, large and small ensemble rehearsals and will conclude with a Gala performance! The Jazz Intensive is coordinated by New York City based trumpeter, Wayne J. du Maine

Audition requirements: Please check the NEMC website for detailed information for each instrument.
Audition, Application, and Questionnaire are reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage all submission to be in by May 1, 2021.
