The Bronzed Glow of Inequality- Investigating how the popularization of fake tan over time has emphasized double standards for people of colour
For the Personal Interest Project (PIP) as part of my year 12 Society and Culture course, I am investigating how the popularization of fake tan over time has emphasized double standards for people of colour, with a focus on how lighter skinned vs darker skinned POC are treated/seen in the media.

All responses are de-identified and will only be used for research purposes. Answers will only be seen by my Society and Culture teacher and I, and will be disposed of once research is completed. You don't have to answer anything you're not comfortable to. If a question is not applicable to you, please leave it blank.

I'd also like to state that I'm not trying to attack or target anyone who uses fake tan. This research is purely interest and curiosity based, and I don't want anybody to feel as if they're being called out or criticized for using it. I just want to know your thoughts.

Section one is for Statistical data. Section two asks questions about your use of fake tan, and Section three asks more in-depth questions about your use and perception of fake tan. If there are any questions that are not applicable to you please leave them blank!
