2024-2025 ERCS Open Enrollment Request Form
The 2024–2025 El Rancho Charter School priority order of enrollment is:
(1) Resident students within the school boundaries.
(2) Open Enrollment students who are continuing at El Rancho.
(3) New Open Enrollment requests who are siblings of continuing students.
(4) New Open Enrollment requests who are children of El Rancho Charter School employees.
(5) New Open Enrollment requests who are children of OUSD employees.
(6) New Open Enrollment requests of students who reside in OUSD.
(7) Inter-district transfer permit students who reside outside of the OUSD boundaries.

Open Enrollment forms are to be submitted during the Open Enrollment period, which will be held from January 15 – January 29, 2024. Once the window closes, a lottery drawing will be held for all applicants and we will notify you upon acceptance.

Terms and Conditions: Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before signing the form.
(1) This agreement remains in effect for the entire school year or until there is no longer space available for resident students. Once the student is enrolled and attending, the student shall not be permitted to re-enroll in their school of residence and shall remain in their school of choice for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year.
(2) There is no guarantee for space availability for continuing students or for siblings of continuing students.
(3) Space, programs, and courses must be available including Special Education.
(4) Pupils currently residing in the school’s attendance area shall not be displaced by pupils transferring from outside the attendance area.
(5) Parents must provide transportation to and from El Rancho Charter School. School bus transportation is NOT provided for those students who live outside of the El Rancho attendance boundaries.
(6) All students attending El Rancho Charter School on “Open Enrollment” are expected to maintain regular attendance, appropriate behavior, and good citizenship.
(7) Once the 2024-2025 Open Enrollment period ends, El Rancho Charter School will continue to accept applications until enrollment is at capacity.
(8) Incorrect or false information will result in this application being null and void.

Once you complete this form, please follow the link below to the OUSD open enrollment page. On that page, find our school name to access the OUSD Open Enrollment form.  Both El Rancho and OUSD forms must be submitted to complete your student's Open Enrollment application.  

Don't forget to click submit at the bottom of this page before exiting the form!! All Open Enrollment applicants will be contacted after the open enrollment window ends.
