Reduce speed and stop if needed, make sure there are no hazards and continue, honk your horn or yelp your siren while going through.

Drive through the intersection as you have your lights on and siren, do not slow down as that can endanger you.

Stay through the intersection following the speed limit, do not stop unless there is a light.

When in an open highway and you have the suspect at gunpoint how should should you secure as safely as possible. *

Move in and cuff him ASAP.

Have a unit go back to their SUV and grab a shield while other units hold Lethal and Non Lethal (If possible) on the subject. Then move towards the subject with the shield to then cuff him.

Have him get on his knees then get a unit up there with a handgun to cuff him.
