Heading into our sixth term of the training program, I am excited to be adding a few members to our team for this term.
The core values of our company are Love, Community and Connection. Our training sessions are specifically designed to create a space that nurtures these values. We concentrate on our dance skills, of course, but we pride ourselves in going beyond this - using our time together to connect and develop who we are as humans - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We are an inclusive company that celebrates individuality.
Please note that our company is basically full - there's space for around 10 new applicants. Although, please still apply because I will add some of you to the drop in list which is where I will message you before an upcoming session if there are spaces due to absence (which usually happens every week!) The group that has the most spaces is Sunday morning's (around 8 spots left), the group with close to no spaces at all is Sunday afternoon's and the Monday morning's only have a couple.
You must commit to attend ideally all sessions for your first term - once you have completed at least 3 sessions with the company you can then officially join the community in which you get to be a part of many company exclusive events, opportunities and discounts.

Who?
The training program is aimed at professional dancers aged 18+. Most members are working professionals but we also have students in training and dancers that simply train for fun and community. The studio we use is inclusive for disabled dancers.
What?
The sessions are 4 hours long. Sessions are led by Ricky Jinks with occasional guest teachers. We do choreography, journalling / mindfulness, improvisation, technique, meditation and much more.
When?
There are currently 3 training groups. You will train on either Sundays 10-2, 2-6 or Mondays 10-2. The dates for Term 6 are:
Sundays: Oct 15th, 22nd, 29th, November 5th, 12th or Mondays: Oct 16th, 23rd, 30th, November 6th, 13th,
Where?
Flow Dance (5 min walk from Oval Station)
Cost?
The sessions are £20 per session. You must pay as you go at each session. Cash is preferred but card is accepted.
If you cannot attend a session, you must tell Ricky at least 3 days before that session or you may still have to pay. We communicate via Whatsapp.
How to Apply?
1/ Write a few sentences about why you are applying for this program. Please be yourself - this is just an opportunity to get to know you more personally.
2/ Send 1 or 2 links of you dancing. This doesn't have to be professional. Ideally choreography and improvisation but no worries if not. Please let these videos be an honest representation of your current ability. Videos of you in class are totally fine!
Ideally, please edit all videos together and upload as one link.
Videos will only be accepted if they are uploaded to YouTube (as a PUBLIC or UNLISTED video - NOT Private), or VIMEO (not password protected). Any other links such as wetransfer will not be accepted.
You may also just share your instagram page if that has sufficient amount of videos on.
