In the following section you can specify the visuals that you would like. Please make sure you only ask for those visuals available in our list of available visuals. If we don't have what you need then feel free to drop us a message - we love to hear what our customers would like us to design next.

Simply:

1. Choose which pictures you would like from our Library of Available Visuals.
2. Write one choice in each option box, followed by how you would like it changed in brackets afterwards e.g. car (red), or karate (to say 'taekwondo')
4. If you would like to include a photo just write the wording that you'd like and email us the photo at hello@createvisualaids.com. These are particularly useful for any people. Photos work better when they are landscape.

IMPORTANT: Please only fill out the correct number of boxes for the number of visuals you ordered.

A few tips:

- When choosing your symbols try to think through the user's day, and then through their week so that you cover all the activities that they do.
- Try to keep wording as simple as possible. So, for example, instead of 'eat breakfast' just use 'breakfast', and instead of 'play with sand' just have 'sand'. This makes it easier for an individual to understand.
- If you do choose to have a few words please be aware that this will make the writing much smaller on the card.

Dress Your Beanie

New! We can now 'dress' your Beanie (the characters in our visuals) to look like, and therefore represent, a particular person.

We can add:

- hair

- glasses

- beard

- moustache

- clothes (feel free to let us know what that person is most likely to wear)

We can show someone in a wheelchair, amputees, adults, children and babies.

Don't forget you can also tell us the person's skin colour. (We think the dressed Beanies look better when shown with a skin colour rather than our generic blue and white).

To dress your Beanie, simply write the wording you would like in the box, followed by a description in brackets. For example, Auntie Sarah (adult with short blonde hair and glasses, usually wears a dress, skin colour B). Please note we can only do this with our visuals of Beanies facing forward. We can't dress a Beanie who is busy doing something like sweeping the floor!
