Element Sign In Consent Form: Intentional Mentions Community Testing Event - May 31, 2023

The purpose of this testing session is to get feedback on the development of the Intentional Mentions MSC. Our goal is to make sure that this implementation is an improvement over the current experience with notifications when mentioned, and your participation will help us validate this.

This is a test of the software. We are not testing you. We want to find out what aspects are confusing, so we can make it better. Your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time without giving a reason.  

The test will be conducted through beta.matrix.org. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn how your data will be processed.

The team member who you are working with is available to clarify any questions you may have.

What data will be collected by us:

We will only collect your responses to this survey, your email address in order to invite you to our test spreadsheet, and any information you provide to us in that spreadsheet.

You will be provided with a prototype to interact with and text questions to answer. There will NOT be any audio or video recording.

Element employees will be able to access the test spreadsheet and see the information you provided, but they won’t know anything else about you.
