The scholarship program is dedicated to help young game developers from Central & Eastern Europe (see the list of viable countries below*) to go to their first GDC in San Francisco on March 18-22, 2024. In the scholarship matter of inclusiveness and groups being underrepresented at GDC will be looked upon with special care.

The best submissions will be selected by the Jury with Judges being representatives of industry organizations that are cooperating around CEEGA awards (Central & Eastern European Game Award).

Scholars will be provided with:
+ All Access GDC Pass
+ group accommodation in San Francisco during the event, including breakfasts
+ pre-GDC training and mentoring, help with US VISA aquisition and travel arrangements
+ mentoring during the GDC and help with networking

Scholars own costs and responsibility are:
* travel to San Francisco (we estimate this to cost ca. 700-1100USD depending of the country)
* living costs in San Francisco (we estimate that you will need at least 150USD)
* costs of obtaining passport (depends on the country) and US visa** (160USD) where necessary
* costs of obtaining travel and health insurance for the entire visit in USA (40-60USD)

The call for applications will be closed 23nd of February 23:59 CET.
The results of the selection will be announced not later than 29th of February.
