We are excited to announce registration for our Spring trimester, for after school math circles. Classes will take place on Zoom, with most of the time spent in small groups of 2-6 students.
What is it? A live, online class on Zoom, where students work on their problem solving skills while investigating different topics in enrichment math. Past topics include combinatorics, graph theory, symmetry, fractals, and many more. Students will work with others from the same school or afterschool, while also having chances to meet and work with kids from other schools in Cambridge, with whom they will have classes in middle school and/or high school. (Grades 3-5 and 6-8.)
Starting date: Rolling basis
Time: Mondays 3:30 pm (for Haggerty, Tobin, Graham & Parks, Morse) or Wednesdays 3:30 pm (Cambridgeport, FMA, MLK, KLo). Mondays 4 pm for UPPER schools.
Where: live online classes, link will be sent before class starts.
Cost: none. The cost of these classes is subsidized by the City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Math Circle.
