Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Campus! Volunteers will act as Group Leaders on the projects, working alongside other volunteers to ensure that children are safe and have an enjoyable holiday. This form should take about 15 minutes to fill out. We ask all applicants to provide the name of one referee who we will contact in the event of your application being successful. This reference will be used to confirm your suitability to work with vulnerable children. Your referee should be someone you know in an official capacity and may include a current or past employer, university/school tutor, social worker, probation officer, religious minister or voluntary work colleague. It should not be a close friend or family member. If you have any problems identifying a suitable referee then please let our Recruitment Officer know.

Advice on filling out this form:
- We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all volunteers to share this commitment. Please take your time and complete the form as fully and accurately as you can.
- Don’t worry if you don’t have much experience working with children, this won't impact your chances of volunteering – you'll be supported by more experienced volunteers and it's a great opportunity to gain more experience!
- We ask for a reference as part of this form, so please have their details ready
- The dates that you enter for your availability will be taken as provisional. We understand that summer holiday plans can alter, so please let us know ASAP of any changes to your availability to enable us to effectively plan our projects.

Please only fill in this application form if you have not volunteered with Campus before. Current experienced Campus volunteers will be contacted separately at a later date. If you are returning volunteer (i.e. are no longer on the Campus current helper mailing list), please contact our Recruitment Officer before filling in this form (recruitment@campusholidays.org.uk).

There is currently no end date for the government measures in place. At the moment, we are hopeful that our summer projects can go ahead but are fully aware that the situation can change at any time. We will adapt to changes in government guidance/policy as and when they occur. Please be aware that this means there is the possibility that Campus project(s) may not go ahead. Please be reassured that the safety of our volunteers and our children is our top priority.
