20. I am aware that my student must maintain a 2.0 college GPA to remain eligible for Dual Enrollment and the Dual Enrollment Grant.
21. I am aware that my student is responsible for completing the DE Student Contract at the beginning of each term. If the contract is not completed, or if the timeline is not followed, the school counselor will have to drop Dual Enrollment from the student's course registration, and the schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
22. I am aware that my student is REQUIRED to attend and MANDATORY meetings held in the Fall and/or Spring to complete registration.
23. I am aware that it is my student's responsibility to meet deadlines and attend classes as scheduled. The DE instructor takes attendance and has their own attendance policies.
24. I am aware that background checks for PSTCC/LMU/ETSU/MTSU/CARSON NEWMAN/SOUTH COLLEGE/TCAT employees are performed to their standards and not to K-12 standards under TCA sec.49-5-413.

27. I am aware that my student must speak with their school counselor before withdrawing from a DE course and that my student could receive an "F" in the course that will show on their transcript and calculate in the high school and college grade point averages.
28. I am aware that the DE courses is the student's scheduled class for the term. Once classes begin, they are enrolled for the entire term and cannot be dropped.
29. I am aware that it is the student's responsibility to purchase the required books or technology for his/her DE class (not covered by the DE Grant).
30. I am aware that all DE courses taught in-person at FHS will be offered only during 1st or 4th block. (Subject to be canceled if minimum student enrollment requirement is not met.)
